Password Change

Update your SOGo 5 account password to keep your account secure.

Prerequisites​

  • A SOGo 5 account with valid credentials
  • You are logged into SOGo 5

Password Change Methods​

SOGo 5 password change depends on your organization's configuration:

Step-by-Step Instructions​

If Self-Service Password Change Is Enabled​

  1. Click the gear icon to open Settings
  2. Navigate to the General or Allgemein tab
  3. Look for a password change section
  4. Enter your current password
  5. Enter your new password twice to confirm
  6. Click Change Password or Save

Most organizations use an external identity provider for password changes. Check with your IT support for the correct method.

Password Requirements​

Organizations typically enforce these password rules:
